We do not sell data

Personal information is used to provide Parmlog services — never sold to third parties.

Organizers stay in control

Attendee records belong to the event organizer. We process them only to deliver the service.

02

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to respond to enquiries, operate events, and provide the Parmlog platform.

  • Organizer and contact details: name, email, phone number, organization, and event information submitted through our website or WhatsApp.
  • Account information: login credentials, role (admin, organizer, or check-in staff), and billing details for paid plans.
  • Attendee information: name, email, phone, organization, job title, custom registration fields, QR codes, and check-in timestamps.
  • Service and usage data: device type, browser, IP address, pages visited, and technical logs that help us keep the service reliable and secure.
  • Payment information: processed by Paystack. Parmlog does not store full card numbers.

03

How we use information

We use personal information to deliver and improve Parmlog, communicate with you, and meet our legal obligations.

  • Set up and run event registration, confirmations, reminders, QR check-in, name tag printing, and attendance reports.
  • Create and manage organizer accounts, team roles, and live dashboards.
  • Respond to demo requests, bookings, and support messages.
  • Process payments, send invoices, and prevent fraud or misuse.
  • Maintain security, diagnose technical issues, and improve the product.
  • Comply with Ghanaian law, including the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

04

Attendee data and our role

When an organization uses Parmlog for an event, that organization is typically the data controller for attendee records. Parmlog acts as a processor: we handle attendee information only to provide the agreed registration, check-in, and reporting services.

  • Organizers decide which fields to collect, who may access records, and how long data is kept after the event.
  • Attendees should review the organizer’s event notice when registering. Questions about a specific event’s guest list should go to that organizer first.
  • For managed onsite services, our team accesses attendee data only as needed to run check-in and deliver reports to the client.
  • We do not use attendee lists for our own marketing.

05

How we share information

We share personal information only when it is necessary to provide the service, required by law, or done with your instruction.

  • Event organizers and authorized staff can view and export the attendee data for their own events.
  • Service providers who help us operate Parmlog — such as hosting, email or SMS delivery, and Paystack for payments — process data under contract and only on our instructions.
  • We may disclose information if required by a court, regulator, or other lawful request in Ghana.
  • If Devarps Limited is involved in a merger, acquisition, or similar transaction, information may transfer as part of that process, still subject to this policy.

06

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website and platform use essential cookies and similar technologies so pages load, sessions stay signed in, and security features work. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.

  • You can block cookies in your browser, but some parts of the site or platform may then not work as expected.
  • We do not currently run third-party advertising pixels on parmlog.com.

07

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, including legal, accounting, and security requirements.

  • Enquiry and booking messages: kept long enough to handle your request and any follow-up.
  • Organizer accounts: kept while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards if billing or support records are required.
  • Attendee and attendance records: retained according to the organizer’s instructions and the needs of the event, then deleted or returned when no longer required.
  • Payment and invoice records: kept for the period required under Ghanaian tax and company law.

08

How we protect information

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. This includes access controls, encrypted connections, role-based permissions, and limiting staff access to what is needed for their work.

  • No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We work to reduce risk, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.
  • Organizers are responsible for choosing strong passwords, managing team access, and handling exported reports securely.

09

Your rights

Under Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you may request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, object to certain processing, or request deletion where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it.

  • Email hello@parmlog.com with your request. We may need to verify your identity before we act.
  • If your data was collected for a specific event, we may need to involve the event organizer, who is usually the controller of that guest list.
  • If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

10

Children

Parmlog is built for organizations running events. We do not knowingly market the platform to children. If an event involves minors — for example a school function — the organizer is responsible for collecting information lawfully, including obtaining any consent required from a parent or guardian.

11

Storage and transfers

Parmlog is operated from Ghana. Some infrastructure or service providers may process information outside Ghana. When that happens, we take steps to ensure the information remains protected in line with this policy and applicable law.

12

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change when we do. Continued use of Parmlog after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or, where appropriate, notified by email.
